Tuition Booking Conditions
Please ensure you read the booking conditions below prior to booking.
Painting Holidays
A non-refundable deposit per person is required on booking. You will be notified of a final payment date on confirmation.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing to Carole Baker, Plough House, Weston Heath, Nr Shifnal, Shropshire TF11 8RY.
Written cancellations received 60 days prior to the course date, the deposit will be forfeit but the balance will be refunded provided this has been received.
It is regretted that no refund can be made in respect of bookings cancelled 60 days (or less) prior to commencement of the holiday unless a replacement can be found.
Carole Baker Fine Art reserves the right to cancel the holiday if there are not a viable number of students and payment will be returned. In the case of acts of God, war, disaster or unforeseen circumstances, Carole Baker Fine Art reserves the right to reschedule if possible. Carole Baker Fine Art cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to such cancellations.
Studio Workshops - Booking Conditions
If there are not a viable number of students, workshops may be cancelled and payment returned. Should you cancel, a refund will be given less 50% of the course fee. It is regretted that no refund can be made in respect of bookings cancelled 30 days (or less) prior to the date of the workshop. If you cancel a workshop and we are able to fill your place, we will charge a handling fee of £20 and hold the remaining fee in credit to be used for a later booking. If we are unable to fill your place, the fee is not refundable. The booking is non transferable. It is strongly advised that you are covered by personal travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the art experience, or for arriving late or leaving early. You should consider trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees in the event of travel disruption, illness or injury before your arrival.
In order to protect both our customers and our business for the future and to keep things as fair as possible, it is necessary for us to strictly enforce our Booking Conditions equally for all students, regardless of circumstances, even if these are out of your control. We regret we are unable to refund travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential costs you may have incurred in booking your workshop.
Travel Insurance

You should consider trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees in the event of travel disruption, illness or injury before your arrival.
You bring any luggage and personal equipment at your own risk. We will not be responsible whatsoever for any loss, damage to your luggage and/or personal equipment. We therefore recommend that your insurance policy includes cover for baggage and personal items.
It is a condition of booking that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
